Our client, GXO Logistics, is looking for a dedicated and motivated warehouse worker with experience.

GXO Logistics is one of the world’s largest logistics providers, working with top global brands like Zalando, Nike, Reebok, FOX, Younique, and more. The Heerlen warehouse is a modern logistics hub handling clothing, medical equipment, cosmetics, garden products, and building materials.

Daily Tasks

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Rotating through departments when needed
• Supporting team targets and assisting colleagues
• Loading and unloading goods from trucks
• Checking, sorting, and stacking products
• Moving goods with pallet trucks / forklifts
• Keeping the warehouse tidy and organized
• Stock control and basic administration

The salary for the role is €14.40 gross/hour + 8% holiday allowance, which translates to €15.55/hour. There are also shift allowances that further increase the salary (evenings (19:00–00:00): +35%, nights (00:00–06:00): +45%, Saturdays: +50%, and Sundays & holidays: +100%).

This is a full-time role with a 32 to 40 hour work week and possible overtime during peak periods.

The company also offers travel reimbursement (€0.23/km if you have your own car). There is also a daily driver allowance (€4.50/day) and the company also offers a punctuality bonus (€150 every 4 weeks).

Free EPT training is also provided. Peak season offers opportunities for working full time, during a standard workweek, where Saturdays are usually free.

Requirements:

• A CV in English is necessary to apply for this vacancy
• VOG (Criminal Record Document) is a must
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Flexible and motivated team players
• Previous warehouse experience (advantage, not required)
• EPT/OPT/Combitruck certificate (a plus, not a must)
• Flexibility to work multitasking and overtime, if needed
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work in early, late and night shifts (5 shifts scheme)
• Basic computer skills
• Availability to stay long-term in the Netherlands
