Join a renowned business that builds trucks, buses, and engines for ships all over the world from their Hasselt Logistics Hub, for which the company needs a reach truck driver, with experience.
Job Description
As a freach truck operator, you will ensure that truck parts are transported to the correct workstations and colleagues
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Picking the right pallets/orders from high racks, up to seven floors.
- Transporting pallets to the correct destination.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Transporting goods from A to B and checking goods.
- Repacking
- Order collection
You must be willing to perform other logistics tasks (repacking, collecting orders walking) if there are not enough orders or trucks, meaning you will not always be driving
The salary for the role is €16.80 per hour (gross), all ages, with two rotating shifts weekly 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:30, one week morning, one week afternoon. The average shift addition is 11% and the overtime during the week is 124.41%; Overtime on Saturday (morning only): 146.60%.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- License: Have a valid reachtruck license (Dutch certificate is required as per your request).
- Experience: At least 1.5 – 2 years of experience on the reachtruck in a logistics warehouse. Experience in a warehouse or logistics center is a big plus.
- Language: Must be able to understand, speak, and read English. The work instructions and all communication on the work floor are in English for safety.
- Motivation: A strong desire to work for the client, prioritizing the job over the salary offered.
- Reliability:We seek reliable employees who prioritize quality.
- Zero Tolerance: The compnay enforces a zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol and drugs; employees must be sober at work.
