We are looking for experienced Assembly Workers / Allround Interior Construction Workers for a modular housing project in the Netherlands.

The work involves assembling prefabricated parts of houses, including walls, floors, interior elements and other construction components. Workers receive technical drawings/instructions showing how the different parts need to be assembled.

The work itself is not overly complicated and is quite repetitive, as similar assembly tasks are performed every day. However, candidates must already have a solid and recent construction background, understand how building components are assembled, and be confident using different hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of prefabricated modular houses
• Installing and assembling walls, floors and interior construction elements
• Working with wood and other construction materials
• Following technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Measuring, fitting, drilling, screwing, cutting and adjusting components
• Using different hand and power tools
• Performing basic carpentry and finishing work
• Checking the quality and correct positioning of assembled parts
• Keeping the workplace clean and safe

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant construction experience
• Experience must be recent – within the last 5 years
• Stable work history in construction is important
• Practical experience with walls, floors, wood construction, interior construction or allround building/assembly work
• Candidates with only furniture production/assembly experience are not suitable
• Good practical knowledge of different hand and power tools
• Ability to understand and follow technical drawings or assembly instructions
• Experience working with wood and construction materials
• Reliable, practical and comfortable with repetitive production/assembly work
• Own car is a big advantage but not mandatory
• Candidates without their own car must be willing to rent a car from the agency
