Our partner, GP-Connect, is a full-service employment agency made up of a team of experienced people. Their mission is to provide the best work abroad experience to young international hospitality talents around Europe.

They are currently looking for lifeguards with experience to join their team in the Netherlands!

As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for daily indoor and outdoor pool safety. You always create a sense of luxury and go above and beyond for guests, all the while maintaining guest safety in the water in a friendly and enthusiastic manner as per their requests.

In this position, your duties will include:

• Supervising swimming activities at the aquatic center and making sure that safety procedures, guidelines, and policies are followed;
• Warning of unsafe activities and enforcing water safety policies and pool regulations;
• Providing first aid in the event of injury, rescuing swimmers in danger or distress, and administering Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or artificial respiration if necessary;
• Inspecting pool equipment, facilities, and water to make sure they are usable and safe;
• Supervising and assisting in cleaning equipment and facilities;
• Opening and closing the pool each day, depending on schedule and hours;
• Instructing or assisting classes in the fundamentals of swimming.

The starting salary for this position is €17.66 gross/hour.

This is a long-term and full-time job opportunity.

Requirements:

• A CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• 3+ years of experience in the position;
• Fluent English is required, and German will be considered a plus;
• Lifeguard certification is mandatory;
• Swimming skills and comfort in all kinds of water conditions;
• Ability to evaluate and judge the changing dynamics of people taking part in aquatic activities;
• In-depth knowledge of safety policies, on-site protocols, and operational procedures;
• In-depth knowledge of techniques and methods for providing medical services in the event of an emergency;
• Willingness to live and work with other nationalities;
