Join a major logistics company as a forklift driver responsible for the distribution of all non-food items to Lidl stores throughout Europe. This includes a diverse range of products such as tools (screwdrivers), home leisure (trampolines, barbecues), and outdoor equipment (bicycle pumps).

Role Overview

As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for preparing goods for transport in a professional, heated warehouse environment. Working near the loading docks where trucks and trailers arrive, you will utilize a forklift equipped with long forks to efficiently manage inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics Preparation: Preparing a variety of goods for transport.
• Order Picking: Efficiently picking orders using a forklift truck.
• High-Altitude Stacking: Stacking pallets (up to 3 pallets high) at heights reaching 8 meters.
• Material Handling: Picking up 2 pallets at a time and transporting them to designated locations within the warehouse.
• Additional Tasks: Carrying out various warehouse-related duties as required.

The salary for this role is gross hourly wage of €16.20, which includes a 10.13% shift allowance for every shift. Overtime is paid at 130%, Saturdays at 150% and Sundays at 200%,

Thre's also free transport to work via car or bike is provided, with the added option to rent an electric bike for a nominal fee.

You will also have access to language courses and professional certifications (e.g., advanced forklift courses). Lastly, there's a dedicated support from a coordinator and 24/7 access to the employee portal for contracts, payslips, and annual statements.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) operating on a 2-shift rotation, Monday through Friday:

• Early Shift: 05:30 – 14:30.
• Late Shift: 14:30 – 23:30.

Candidate Requirements

• Certification: A valid forklift certificate is mandatory.
• Experience: Proven experience working as a forklift driver in a warehouse setting.
• Flexibility: A strong willingness to work in a shift-based system.
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
