Job Description

As a forklift driver, you will ensure that truck parts are transported to the correct workstations and colleagues

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Transporting parts to the right place in the warehouse
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Checking parts
• Repacking
• Order collection

You must be willing to perform other logistics tasks (repacking, collecting orders walking) if there are not enough orders or trucks, meaning you will not always be driving

The salary for the role is €16.80 per hour (gross), all ages, with two rotating shifts weekly 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:30, one week morning, one week afternoon. The average shift addition is 11% and the overtime during the week is 124.41%; Overtime on Saturday (morning only): 146.60%.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Have a valid forklift license
• At least 1 year experience on the forklift truck in a logistics warehouse
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics center is a big plus.
• Must be able to understand, speak, and read English
• Work instructions and communication on the work floor are in English for safety
• Employees must be taller than 1.65 cm for ergonomic reasons
• Document of no criminal record is important
• The company enforces a zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol and drugs; employees must be sober at work. Bringing alcohol or drugs to work, or coming to work not sober, will result in immediate termination23.
• Couples or relatives must realize they will be planned at different departments or shifts; we do not want them to work together
• Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
