The client is a leading, dynamic company specializing in the processing, packing, and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the company supplies high-quality fresh produce on time to major supermarkets across Europe.

Job Responsibilities

A key forklift role within production to ensure that production lines keep running continuously by supplying assigned packing lines according to production orders.

• Supply assigned packing lines according to production orders.
• Receive instructions from Line Leaders via internal phone (English required).
• Collect materials from warehouse storage and scan/accurately register all movements in the system.
• Remove finished products from lines, transport material needs, and prevent line shortages.
• Post-shift duties: return unused materials, organize the working area, clean the forklift, and charge the battery of the electric forklift.

The workload is 40–42 hours per week across 5 working days within a 6-day operational week (6-day weeks possible during the summer peak season).

Early Shift: 05:00 / 05:15 – 15:00 (Monday – Saturday, with 1 rostered day off per week).

Late Shift:

• • Monday: 14:30 – approx. 00:00
  • Tuesday & Wednesday: 14:30 – approx. 23:00
  • Thursday & Friday: 14:30 – approx. 01:00
  • Saturday: Off (unless urgent production)

Note: Shift times may slightly vary depending on production needs.

In addition to the base salary, employess will also be paid:

Overtime: 135%

Shift Allowances:

• • Between 19:00 – 23:00: 25%
  • Between 23:00 – 06:00: 40%

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of experience operating a forklift, specifically within a fast-paced production environment supplying multiple lines.
• Licences: Valid forklift licence.
• Personal Traits: Independent, proactive, reliable, and safety-focused.
• Working Environment: Comfortable working in a cold production environment (between 5 and 14 degrees, depending on the fruit/vegetables).
• Accommodation: Willing to share a room with other tenants
• Partner: Willing to work in different shifts with partner

Onboarding, Training & Facilities

• Onboarding Process: Structured onboarding lasting several weeks, featuring initial shadowing with an experienced operator, gradual assignment of production lines, and full independence after evaluation supported by dedicated internal trainers (communicating in English, with some trainers also speak Polish or Romanian).
• Mandatory Compliance: Online food safety training required before the first working day, periodic exams, and a strong focus on HSE and hygiene standards.
• Employee Facilities: Personal lockers (secured by chip or code), separate food storage areas, spacious on-site canteen, free daily fruit, and hot meals/sandwiches available for purchase.
