Are you an experienced Car Mechanic or Diagnostic Technician with strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems?

For Van Mossel Automotive Group, one of the largest automotive companies in Europe, we are looking for a skilled technician to join the Peugeot/Citroën dealership in Heemskerk.

For this position, we are specifically looking for someone who is very strong in vehicle electrics, electronics and diagnostics. You will work in a modern workshop, identifying and repairing electrical and electronic faults as well as carrying out mechanical repairs when required.

Using modern diagnostic and measuring equipment, you will analyze faults, identify their root cause and determine the correct repair method.

Your responsibilities

• Diagnosing electrical and electronic vehicle faults
• Troubleshooting wiring, sensors, control units and other electronic systems
• Using diagnostic computers and measuring equipment to identify technical problems
• Reading and interpreting fault codes and electrical information
• Repairing electrical and mechanical vehicle systems
• Performing technical maintenance and repairs
• Supporting other mechanics with complex diagnostic issues
• Ensuring repairs meet manufacturer and quality standards

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive experience
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems – this is essential
• Proven experience diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical vehicle faults
• Experience using automotive diagnostic and measuring equipment
• Good understanding of mechanical vehicle systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and accurately
• Relevant automotive technical education, preferably equivalent to Dutch MBO Level 3
• Full-time availability
• APK certification is an advantage, or willingness to obtain it

Experience with Peugeot, Citroën or other modern passenger-car brands is an advantage but not required.

• Salary: approximately €3,000–€3,500 gross per month, depending on experience and technical knowledge
