Willems Jachtbouw specializes in the construction of high-end aluminum superyachts. As a MIG Aluminium Welder / Fitter, you will work on aluminum hulls for luxury superyachts as part of an experienced and professional team.

You will be responsible for assembling, processing, tacking, and welding aluminum components used in superyacht hull construction.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assembling and processing aluminum components
• Tack welding and MIG welding aluminum constructions
• Performing flat-position / underhand welding
• Working according to technical drawings and specifications
• Reading and working from 3D models when required
• Checking the quality and accuracy of your work
• Keeping your workplace clean and organized
• Working independently while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a MIG aluminuum welder, preferably in shipbuilding, yacht building, or a similar industry
• Able to weld MIG aluminum at level 2 or 3
• Experience with tack welding and underhand/flat-position welding
• Able to read and work from technical drawings
• Experience reading 3D models is an advantage
• Able to work independently, accurately, and with attention to quality
• VCA/VCU certificate, or willingness to obtain it (the agency can arrange this)
