Job description

Our partner The Greenery has a fully automated logistical infrastructure that supplies and distributes a full range of fresh, year-round fruit and vegetables to (international) supermarkets, wholesalers, caterers, and processors. 

The company is currently looking for Forklift drivers to join its team! The temperature in the warehouse is (+3/ +6°C) to keep products fresh and tasty! 

Your daily tasks will include: 

  • picking pallets with fruits and vegetables from the shelves with a Forklift; 
  • transport pallets around the warehouse by driving Forklift; 
  • quality controlling of the goods, managing all impaired or damaged merchandise items;
  • following safety standards when using machinery;
  • carry out other related warehouse tasks true out the day. 

This is a long-term, full-time job offer. Work is in rotating shifts. The company will provide work clothing and equipment. 

Forklift drivers with recent experience and without the Dutch certificate are welcome to apply! The company offers to arrange courses for the Forklift certificate.

19:00 - 125%
23:00 - 06:00 140%
Saturday after 15:00 125%

Skills

  • CV in English is needed to apply for this position;
  • 6 months of recent Forklift experience; 
  • A forklift certificate is an advantage; 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good computer literacy, able to learn quickly; 
  • Ready to work together with multiple nationalities; 
  • Ready to work in a cool environment (+3/ +6°C); 
  • Ability to work independently and as a team;
  • Availability to stay in the Netherlands long-term.
