We’re looking for a skilled Butcher / Meat Processor to join a reputable hotel kitchen in Amsterdam.

Your main responsibilities include preparing, portioning, and deboning meat while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards. You’ll also support kitchen operations when needed, assisting with food prep and other ingredients.

This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working in a professional kitchen environment and takes pride in maintaining consistent quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing, deboning and portioning different types of meat
• Deboning meat when required (formal butcher training not necessary)
• Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
• Supporting the kitchen team with other food prep tasks
• Working efficiently and independently
• Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
• Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner

The salary for this role is €17.47 gross/hour. The shifts for the job are between 11:00 and 21:00, approx. 38 hours per week with a shared staff house near the hotel (€430 per 4 weeks, deducted from salary). Employees will also have access to the hotel gym and padel court along with available meals during working hours (for €3.95 per shift).

Job Requirements

• Previous experience as a butcher or meat processor
• English level: B1 (basic communication)
• Good hygiene and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Driver’s license not required
