About the Role

As a Logistics & Warehouse Employee, you will become part of a highly coordinated team responsible for the global supply chain. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your team ensures that crucial truck and engine components are perfectly prepared, verified, and dispatched worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Processing: Work collaboratively to accurately create, pick, and prepare international parts orders.
• Quality Control: Inspect and verify part numbers and order details to ensure zero-defect packaging.
• Secure Packaging: Pack components securely according to global transit regulations and Scania’s high-quality standards.
• Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly follow workplace safety guidelines.

The role offers a salary of €16.80 gross per hour in a stable 2-shift rotation (06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:30)

Attractive Shift Allowances: Earn substantial extra pay automatically added to your hours:

  • Late Shift (18:00 – 19:00): +25.5%
  • Late Shift (19:00 – 20:30): +26.5%
  • Late Shift (20:30 – 21:30): +46.5%
  • Late Shift (21:30 – 22:30): +51.5%

Average Monthly Shift Premium: ~11% on top of your base salary!

Enjoy 50 minutes of daily rest time (broken down into one 30-minute break and two 10-minute breaks) managed on a staggered schedule to keep the day moving comfortably.

Before your first official shift on Monday, you will be fully equipped with branded work clothing, safety shoes, and an entrance pass.

Your journey begins on a Wednesday in Zwolle with a comprehensive, 3-day paid introduction and training course (day shift) to set you up for ultimate success before you hit the work floor.

Requirements

• Language Skills: Competent proficiency in English (reading, speaking, and understanding) is mandatory to ensure strict compliance with on-the-floor safety protocols.
• Motivation & Reliability: We look for reliable, quality-driven individuals who are genuinely motivated to build a career with Scania.
• Physical Fitness: This is an active role requiring you to stand throughout the shift, alongside pushing, pulling, and light lifting. Note: Tools are provided for anything over 10 kg, making the role accessible for both men and women, but it is not recommended for individuals with pre-existing physical or back problems.
• Experience (Plus): Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics hub is a major advantage.
• Certifications (Plus): A valid forklift truck certificate is a highly valued asset.
• Strict Workplace Policy: Scania enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol and drugs. Showing up under the influence or bringing substances onto the premises results in immediate termination.
• Accommodation: Willingness to live in a shared room and share common residential areas like the kitchen and bathroom.
