The Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam is a five-star deluxe hotel located in the former Shipping House. There are 205 rooms in total, including 22 suites, 8 conference/banquet rooms, the Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness Center. The hotel is only 500 meters from the central station, from which you can take buses, trams, and metros to any part of the city. 

This successful hotel is now looking for porters to join their team!

As a hotel porter, you will be responsible for the following:

• Carrying guests and luggage;
• Fixing minor issues;
• Maintaining a clutter-free building entrance;
• Arranging taxi services upon request;
• Reporting damages, call technicians, and monitor repairs;
• Following evacuation rules in case of emergencies;
• Sweeping and moping floors and vacuuming carpets;
• Responding to other requests.

The gross salary is €12.22 per hour. You will have an additional €1.01 per hour for the holiday allowance.

In this position, you can earn even more if you become a driver. You will earn an extra €2.25 per day plus your salary. 

The cost of accommodation is a maximum of €115 per week. You can choose between group health insurance and your own private insurance, and the cost is €30.27 per week.

If you drive your car to work and your accommodation is more than 10 kilometers away, you will be paid €3.75 per day.

If your place of stay is less than 10 km from your job, the agency will give you a bike. A bike deposit of €75 is required.

Your work uniform consists of black trousers, a black t-shirt, and comfortable black shoes.

In this position, you will work from Monday to Sunday in two shifts, from 7 AM to 3 PM, and from 3 PM to 11 PM.

You need to take with you the original copies of the documents, a blanket and a pillow/sleeping bag, and your own plate, cup, and utensils.
